MEGAN LOUISE CRAWLEY - PRINCIPAL & ARTISTIC DIRECTOR

TEACHES - MUSICAL THEATRE, ACTING, LAMDA & SHAKESPEARE

Megan graduated with a HND in musical theatre, and has since gone on to work professionally abroad in cabaret and casino shows as well as work in musical theatre and short films. Megan’s debut producer role was her London production of  RENT 2013, nominated for a What’s On Stage Award and winner of two Broadway World awards and numerous 4 and 5 star reviews, making it “one of the most successful fringe productions of RENT seen in a long time”. Megan has been teaching for 7 years, and has since successfully secured her students places at drama schools, music academies, in west end roles and achieving distinctions for their LAMDA examinations. Megan is dedicated to her performing arts academy and is truly grateful for all the talent she is lucky enough to work with each week.

Previous Theatre credits include; Pepper in Annie, Mimi in RENT, Carmen in FAME, Sharpay in High School Musical & Mrs Johnstone in Blood Brother.

Ben trained at Laine Theatre Arts in musical theatre and has since gone on to work in film and musical theatre. Ben now is one of the biggest casting directors in London. Jordan Clarke is a student composer, musical director and accompanist. After attending Chethams School of Music (Manchester) he is now studying Composition at The Royal Academy of Music.

HAYLEY EDWARDS - PRINCIPAL TELFORD BRANCH

Teaches - Musical Theatre, Singing & Acting

Hayley trained at Sandwell College and Guildford College where she studied musical theatre and acting. She was a member of Shropshire girls choir and has done many musicals including, Annie, Singing in the Rain, Fame, Anything Goes and had a lead role in Chasing Fate at the Birmingham Hippodrome Theatre.

Hayley is thrilled to be a part of the PTP Academy Team, and looks forward to seeing the growth of the company in the Midlands.

KEEVA WOODS - HEAD OF DANCE & CHOREOGRAPHY

TEACHES - JAZZ, COMMERCIAL, TAP & BALLET

Keeva is very excited to be part of the team at Pindar for the 2017 term. After many years of performing in France and around the world she has now set base in London again and is teaching whilst still performing. Originally from Ireland, Keeva started dancing at the age of 14 and decided to make it a career by studying Musical Theatre at Phil Winstons Theatreworks in Blackpool where she was trained under the I.D.T.A. in ballet tap and modern jazz.) Keeva has worked in London, Paris, the Middle East, Italy and Asia as a showgirl and also understudied the principle role in Paris at ” La Nouvelle Eve ” where she also performed the french can can. She also travelled the world onboard Jean Ann Ryan production ships as a dancer/singer where she also learned and performed aerial skills. Keeva is very excited to continue to teach and inspire kids and teenagers to follow their dreams in a safe, fun yet challenging environment.

BEN PAPWORTH - SENIORS MUSICAL DIRECTOR

TEACHES - SINGING & MUSICAL THEATRE

Hailing from York, Ben recently graduated with a degree in Music and Piano performance. Whilst in York Ben was at the epicentre of the Musical Theatre scene and was MD for many, many shows in the area. Following on from this Ben produced his own theatre company and took the role of producer and left the company back in September to flourish with its Youth devision, encouraging development in all ages. Ben is a keen musician and Multi-Instrumentalist including Piano, Violin, Viola, Cello, Flute, Clarinet, Saxophone and Bassoon. Keep an eye out for Ben who has been filming something great with the BBC, airing in January 2019.
